A Salty Thunderstorm

Drowning in a pool of my own tears with no one to rescue me

How do you not care?
Why do my tear filled eyes mean nothing?
How can you just brush me off as if I were a stranger?
Are my pleas just meaningless gibberish to your hardened heart?
The years we have been intertwined,
Do they mean nothing?
Am I that insignificant?
Are my feelings truly that worthless?
You can sit and watch me…
