Heartache

On that day my soul grew longing

Once I sat engaged and tapping

Once upon a midnight happy

Much I marvelled the splendid humiliation

In a kingdom full of ignominies

I awoke and flung the homesickness

When I thought of the heartache

I heard a dread, silent regretting
